Hey guys, Rachel here! I began making bracelets after my husband and I lost our baby girl, Charlie Kate. She was born sleeping and our family was devastated. The nurses that took care of us during our stay at Woman’s were beyond amazing. They wiped tears and laughed with us as we tried to cope with what was happening around us. One of the amazing Labor and Delivery nurses made a bracelet with her name on it. I couldn’t take it off. Seeing her name made me feel closer to Charlie. I was scared I would damage it by wearing it too much (I’m hard on my jewelry), so I began making them myself! I always wear a bracelet with her name, and it makes me feel that she is right there with me. I'm very biased to butterflies for one good reason. My Charlie Kate's nursery was themed butterflies, before we knew what our future would hold. I had to make sure to incorporate it as much as possible. So don't be shocked with all things butterflies!!
